A San Francisco man was arrested Friday after a four-hour standoff with police, police mentioned.
The San Francisco Police Division responded to a report of an assault on Tingley Avenue close to Alemany Boulevard within the Mission Terrace neighborhood at round 11:37 a.m. Friday, talking to a girl who claimed she knew her assailant.
The suspect, Kitiona Villegas, 39, refused to adjust to officers’ orders, and police summoned members of the SFPD Hostage Negotiations Staff and Tactical Firm to the scene.
Villegas was arrested with out incident after 4 hours of negotiations and booked on prices of felony threats, tried arson, assault and resisting arrest. He’s being held on $400,000 bail and is anticipated to look in court docket on Wednesday.
